An extended helicopter flight that will see you take the controls! £200
After arrival at the helicopter centre your trial lesson starts with a ground briefing session and an introduction to the effects of the controls, and then it’s time for take off!
Your instructor will demonstrate forward flight, the art of hovering and the unique maneuverability of a helicopter before you will be given the chance to do some hands on flying of your own. This is your chance to experience a pure adrenaline rush as your instructor shows you the maneuverability of a modern helicopter - sideways, backwards, round in circles and then the tricky test of concentration and skill - the hover.
Then it 's your turn to take the controls, climb away, take a look at the countryside, then come back down to earth for low-level flying (and we mean low!) and to see if you can handle the hover flight time 25-30 minutes.
